My name is Suzanne Ovenden, I have worked along side John at Buildplans for ten years. I manage the general running of the office on a day to day basis as well as ensuring that each client has all the information they require in order for the application to be understood and validated it is my role is liaise with the Local Authorities including Planning Inspector, Listed Building Officers, Conservation Officers, Enforcement Officers, Highway Inspector, Building Regulation Inspector and also Builders, Party Wall Surveyor and anyone else who may have an interest in the project..........
Every application requires Existing & Proposed Elevations, Plans, Sections, Roof Plan, Structural Calculations, Construction Notation, Location and Block Plans, Photographs, Cil Questionnaire. Some applications also require Planning Statement, Heritage Statement, Design & Access Statement, Bio Diversity Reports & Questionnaires, Flood Risk, Fire Safety Strategy, Ecosystem Statement, Sustainability Checklist etc. The type of applications that I register onto the planning portal is Full Planning, Householder Planning, Listed Building Consent, Advertisement Consent, Existing or Proposed Lawful Development Certificate and Prior Approval. There are also some other types of applications such as Outline Planning Consent, Non Material Amendment , Retrospective Planning Application, Water Authority Build Over Approval etc
